Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 10, 2026

1. Introduction

Mediaslide (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides the Mediaslide Influencers application used by agencies and brands to manage creators and run marketing campaigns.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information when:

  • Agencies manage creator profiles
  • Creators are invited to participate in campaigns
  • Creators connect their social media accounts
  • Social media data is retrieved for analytics and performance tracking

We process data only as necessary to operate the platform and provide its features.

2. Platform Data (Instagram / TikTok)

When a creator connects a social media account (such as Instagram (via Meta Platform APIs) or TikTok), Mediaslide Influencers may receive certain data from the platform through its official APIs. In this policy, we refer to this as platform data.

This may include:

  • Account information (such as account ID and username)
  • Media data (such as posts, captions, timestamps, or media type)
  • Engagement metrics (such as likes, comments, shares, or views)
  • Content performance insights provided by the platform APIs (such as reach, views, likes, comments, shares, saves, or similar metrics on individual posts or videos)
  • Authorization data (such as access tokens used to retrieve data from the platform)

We access this data only as permitted by the platform and authorized by the creator.

3. Sources of Information

3.1 Talent Profiles Created by Agencies

Agencies using Mediaslide Influencers may create and manage talent profiles within the platform.

These profiles may include social media handles, general profile details, and campaign participation information. This information is provided and controlled by the agency.

3.2 Public Social Media Data

Agencies may enrich creator profiles using third-party analytics providers (for example, Modash).

This may include publicly available information such as profile details, follower counts, engagement metrics, or public content.

This enrichment is triggered manually by an agency user.

3.3 Creator Authorized Social Media Access

When a creator authorizes a connection, Mediaslide Influencers may retrieve platform data such as profile information, media posts, engagement metrics, and related metadata.

4. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to operate the platform and provide its core features, including:

  • Maintaining talent records managed by agencies
  • Organizing and managing campaigns
  • Tracking deliverables
  • Measuring performance of content
  • Generating campaign reports

When a social media account is connected, the retrieved data is used to display account information, retrieve posts, and measure performance.

We do not use this data for advertising, resale, or unrelated purposes.

5. Social Media Integrations

When a creator connects a social media account, an authorization token is stored securely and used to retrieve data permitted by the platform.

Access is limited to the permissions granted during authorization.

Mediaslide Influencers does not publish content, send messages, or modify user accounts.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

When a creator revokes access or requests deletion of their connected social media account, Mediaslide Influencers removes the association between the social media account and stored data.

Information that directly identifies the social media account or specific content (such as URLs, captions, or platform identifiers) is removed from stored post data where applicable.

Posts may be retained for reporting purposes, but they no longer contain information that can link them to a specific social media account. Performance-related metrics (such as likes, comments, views, or similar statistics) may be retained in this form.

If a social media profile was created solely through the connected account, it is removed. If it also contains information obtained independently (for example from public sources or agency input), it may be retained, but without any active connection to the social media account.

Deletion is completed within 30 days. Backup data is retained only for limited system recovery purposes and is not used in normal operations.

7. Data Sharing

Mediaslide Influencers does not sell personal data or platform data.

Creator data is accessible only to the agency managing campaigns within the platform.

Data is exchanged with social media platforms only as required for authorization and API access.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, including secure storage of authorization tokens, encrypted communications, and restricted access controls.

9. Creator Rights

Creators may revoke access to their social media account at any time through the platform where it was connected.

They may also request deletion of their data by contacting us at contact@mediaslide.com.

10. Data Deletion Instructions

Creators can remove access to their social media account through the platform’s settings (for example, Instagram → Settings → Security → Apps and websites).

They may also request deletion by contacting:

Detailed data deletion instructions are available in our Data Deletion Instructions..
